Rental Conditions – Boat Rental Kaletta at Töppersee
1. General Information
By renting a boat, the renter accepts the following rental conditions of Boat Rental Kaletta. Boats can only be rented with a security deposit.
2. Rental Period and Return
Reservations in advance are not possible. The rental period begins when the boat is handed over and ends when it is returned to the agreed location. Late returns may be subject to an additional fee. The boat must be returned clean and undamaged.
3. Use of the Boats
Use of the boats is at your own risk. Instructions given by our staff must always be followed. For safety reasons, we recommend wearing life jackets. Swimming or jumping from the boat is not permitted. Please keep a minimum distance of 30 meters from the shore and do not dock anywhere. Collisions with other boats must be avoided at all times. Dogs are welcome on board. Please ensure your dog is dry and bring a towel — the boat seats can become very hot in the sun.
4. Safety & Conduct
Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to use a boat. Children under 12 years may only ride when accompanied by an adult. Children aged 12 and above may use pedal boats on their own. Teenagers aged 16 and above may operate an electric boat with a valid ID. A maximum of 4 persons or a total weight of 280 kg per boat is allowed. Barbecuing, open flames, and smoking are not permitted on the boats. Please remain seated during the ride — climbing on the bow or stern is prohibited.
5. Liability
The renter is liable for any damage caused by improper use. The rental company assumes no liability for personal injury or property damage caused by the renter. We are not responsible for valuables that are lost or damaged.
6. Weather & Force Majeure
In case of thunderstorms, strong winds, or poor weather conditions, the rental company may refuse or terminate the rental. In such cases, there is no entitlement to compensation.
